It is 2 pm on a sunny Friday afternoon. I am at a Starbucks in Santa Monica. I get a strange notification on my phone: it says I've bought a plane ticket from Los Angeles to New York, but I haven't booked any tickets.

Soon, I found out I couldn't log into my email. I panic. It feels like someone has stolen my online identity and taken over my digital life.

As I spent hours searching for answers, I became interested in online security. I decided to learn all about it. I want to protect myself and help others stay safe from similar attacks.

A few years later, I majored in Computer Science and joined the Toulouse Computer Science Research Center (IRIT).

Today, my work is a segment of the research line that aims to develop an assessment model to evaluate digital identity solutions and prevent future identity thefts. Such models are essential to reason about technical standards and specifications in the field of digital identity. My work sheds light on several scientific publications.

• Despite the Toulouse Computer Science Research Center coordinates my activity, my journey on digital identity started a few years ago at the University of Stirling, UK, where I examined the latest features of the Algorand platform, with a work partially founded by The DataLab.
• Previously, I held several technical positions in the industry between Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM. Further details upon request.

Education

• My thesis in Computer Science at the University of Milan proposed a framework to compare blockchain performances. Today, this work grounds the work of over a hundred academics.
• I complemented my education with international courses in the field of Computer Security: Cyber Security Incident Management from the University of Toronto and Computer Network Security from Ryerson University.
• I also attended the Programming Language Summer School at the University of Oregon.
